Ajinomoto and Essential Science Announce Sales and Business Development Agreement
Tokyo, Japan & Edzell, UK 1 Jan 2005 - Essential Science has signed an agreement with Japanese company Ajinomoto to develop commercial strategies for their cell culture technologies.

Ajinomoto is the world's largest producer of amino acids for pharmaceutical, cell culture and other applications. Ajinomoto has invested heavily in R&D in order to remain competitive in the production of amino acids and as a result have developed a number of technologies of interest in the development and manufacture of protein therapeutics.
