a2sp Ltd and Essential Science Announce Collaboration on Small Molecule and Protein Immobilization Technology
Warwick & Edzell, UK 1 Jan 2007 - Essential Science has signed an agreement with University of Warwick spinout company a2sp to commercialise improved technologies for the immobilisation of small and macromolecules on solid phases. Essential Science will carry out commercial development activities on behalf of a2sp such as partner identification, identification of customers for a2sp's screening business and general promotion of the Magic Tag™ technology platform.

a2sp have developed Magic Tag™ Immobilisation Technology, a suite of 5 photo-activated chemistries that can be used to optimize the bio-orientation of small- and macro-molecules when immobilized on solid phases such as microtitre plates, magnetic beads, gold film etc.
