Edzell, October 1, 2007 - Essential Science Ltd is working with Dompé pha.r.ma, L’Aquila and Milan, Italy, to identify licensing and collaborative development opportunities in secondary manufacturing.

Dompé’s secondary manufacturing facility in L’Aquila provides the company with considerable capabilities in secondary manufacturing with particular emphasis on topical gels, viscous fluids/syrups for pediatric and geriatric applications, stable suspensions, orodispersible and effervescent tablets and monodose packaging. Dompé are interested in identifying novel technologies that complement their core capabilities as well as co-development opportunities with biotech companies evaluating formulation and secondary manufacturing options for development and marketed products.

In addition to secondary manufacturing capabilities, Dompé’s facility in L’Aquila provides formulation and regulatory support services for internal manufacturing. These facilities, capabilities and services can also be leveraged in support of collaborative development opportunities.
